Could I have dyed black hair lightened to dark brown at a salon?

I've been dying my hair black for a long while, and honestly, I'm sick of it.


Sick of having to buy another kit of dye every time my roots grow out.


Sick of it being so... plain.


Is it possible for me to have it lightened to dark or medium brown at a salon? I do NOT want it to be stripped, just lightened to a shade of brown. My natural hair color is light brown/dirty blonde.Could I have dyed black hair lightened to dark brown at a salon?
I know you can have that done.. don't know if it's stripping but a friend had it done and it takes a lot of time and money.Could I have dyed black hair lightened to dark brown at a salon?
yeah, but itll probably be expensive.





just dye something over the black or wait for it to grow out to re dye.





you could always add some brown or red highlights.





that would look nice and its cheaper and certainly looks good.
