How can i get my hair to stay stright without strighting it or spending money at the salon?

i have stright hair on the top and it curls as it goes down i hate it because it goes kapoof! it takes an hour to strighten any ideas how i can keep it stright or cut the time down with strighting it?How can i get my hair to stay stright without strighting it or spending money at the salon?

okk well when u get out of the shower and ur hair is wet.. dry it with a towel then brush it and then use a hair dryer while brshing it.. keep on doing that andafter a while it gets used to it and it'll do it by it self.. dont use any products couse it will damage ur hair even though it might say it doesnt on the label.. trust me on this one i went through the same thing.. just be patient with your hair and before u now it u'll have straight hair...
After taking a head bath take a comb of ur wish and start combing till it gets dried then apply livon to it and make urself comfortable !!!!!!!!!
Do it yourself, try some good straightening shampoo and a cream. The key is patience of course.
unless u straighten it, there is no other way to keep it straight.! sorry,
