Is it better to change the hairdressing salon I go to?

I went to this salon the first time and liked the proximity, the atmosphere, etc. I got served by the lady boss of the salon - she was quite austere, quite eccentric, quite bossy... although she was extremely attentive to detail, she wasn't very fast with her job (maybe that's her way of showing a new customer what good personal service she provides). However, I thought spending 2 hours there for just a simple trim was a bit much. I feel like switching hairdressers - I'd actually prefer her female employee hairdresser to serve me instead as I thought she cut pretty well and was quite quick with the job too. But... thing is, would it make things awkward? In the past, if I didn't like the first hairdresser a new salon had picked to serve me, I'd just not go to that salon ever again. Have YOU tried changing hairdressers at the salon you've been to and did it work out well? Or do you think I should just avoid that salon forever? Is it better to change the hairdressing salon I go to?
I think if you werent pleased with the service of the salon you should probably got to another salon. Ask a friend or someones whos haircut you like where they get their hair done and who does itIs it better to change the hairdressing salon I go to?
Honestly, if you like the way that a different person cut your hair at the same salon then it is totally fine to request them again. it will not hurt the other stylist's feelings so dont feel awkward. it is not fair to the good stylist if you leave! hairstylists see hundreds of people a week and if their feelings were hurt by someone requesting someone else then they are in the wrong business.
Dont worry about other people having bad feeling if you switch hairdressers...its YOUR money thats being spent so go with whomever you think will give you the service you desire. Plus if shes the boss she is gettin paid either way!
All you have to do is tell her that you would like to try someone else in the shop. She shouldn't ';blow a gasket:'; because you are still giving her your business.
YOU SHOULD PROBABLY AVOID THE SOLON FOREVER BECAUSE YOU DONT WANT TO MAKE THAT OTHER

PERSON FEEL BAD

HOPE IT HELPS
