My dyed hair is too bright!! How can I change it without going back to the salon?

I went to the salon today and had touch-ups and highlights. The highlights look fine but the retouch on top is too bright. My hair was a medium/dark brown but now it looks bright red!! I have a wedding on Friday and dont have time to go back to the salon. Should I was it everyday to lighten it?? What should I do??My dyed hair is too bright!! Go to a beauty supply store and buy a toner. It doesn't dye your hair, it tones it. They should have done that for you there actually. Basically the toner just gets evenly applicated either all over your hair or just on the highlights. Then you leave it on for a few minutes depending on how well you want it to take and how drastic it needs to be, and it will do the job without damaging your hair. You need a dark toner. Don't use dye. You will fry your hair.My dyed hair is too bright!! How can I change it without going back to the salon?
I wouldn't have left the salon if my hair wasn't the color that I asked for. Personally I love red hair. I wouldn't mess with it. You are going to have to make time to go to the salon. You don't want to try and fix it yourself and make it worse.
i dont know stay in the dark and wear a hat the wedding or go to target and get dye to dye your hair its normal color and get the root touch up thing and tough your roots up
get a toner from sally's. that will tone down the color and make it more natural looking and even. ask one of the store employees to help you find the right one.

Merry Christmas! Hope this Helps! :)
Well I personally think that bright red hair looks really good...not bad. If you can pull off red at all, I say keep the bright red...it probably looks better on you than you think!
Dunk it in tea. It works for many, many people! Tea naturally darkens hair.
