I think to do it safely, you might have to go back more than one time. The first time, it might take it to a shade of copper or an orange, the second time, a lighter color, and so on. I colored mine dark brown and it took almost one hour to get it lighter than orange for high lights.
With conditioning and checking....at least two hours. Don't try this at home! In fact.....why are you even doing this since your reverse skunk line would show in two weeks?
